U MOBILE MEMBER-GET-MEMBER CAMPAIGN
- This “Member-Get-Member Campaign” (“Campaign”) is organised by U Mobile Sdn Bhd (“U Mobile”) which will commence at 10:00 am on 25 November 2021 and will end at 23:59 pm on 30 June 2022 (“Campaign Period”).
- All entries or participation received before or after the Campaign Period will be automatically disqualified.
- By participating in this Campaign, you agree to be bound by all the terms and conditions below (“Terms and Conditions”).
- Eligibility
- This Campaign is open to all Active U Mobile postpaid and prepaid subscribers who hold an individual account (Corporate account not included) who:
- have subscribed to U Mobile service for a minimum tenure of one (1) month prior to the commencement of the Campaign; and
- have received the Campaign notification through any channels (SMS/ email/MyUMobile App) from U Mobile during the Campaign Period
(“Active” means able to make and receive calls.) - U Mobile’s employees, vendors, agencies, dealers, distributors, partners and their immediate family members are not allowed to participate in this Campaign.
- Participants who are below the age of 18 years old are deemed to have obtained the consent of their parents or guardians to participate in this Campaign.
- U Mobile reserves the right to reject any entries or disqualify any participant without assigning any reasons.
- This Campaign is open to all Active U Mobile postpaid and prepaid subscribers who hold an individual account (Corporate account not included) who:
- Campaign Mechanics
- To participate in this Campaign, the following steps must be completed during the Campaign Period:
- the Referrer must:
- visit http://u.my/mgm (“Website”);
- refer family or friends, who is not a U Mobile subscriber (“Referee”) by entering their name, phone number and e-mail address in a form provided on the Website (“Information”);
- the Referee must:
- port-in to U Mobile’s network via the link provided by U Mobile upon receipt of U Mobile’s e-mail request to port-in, using the mobile number specified in the Information (“Port-In”); and
- subscribe to U Mobile’s Postpaid plan – Giler Unlimited GX68, Unlimited Hero P99 or Unlimited Hero P139, as a principal line holder (“Plans”); and
- keep the activated U Mobile line Active for a minimum period of 30 days from the date of Port-In (“Minimum Length of Stay”).
- the Referrer must:
- Individuals who have ported out from U Mobile’s network in the last 2 months from the commencement date of the Campaign Period would not be considered as a Referee in this Campaign.
- Referrer must ensure that the Information provided is complete, correct and accurate. Referrer warrant and represent that:-
- the Referee has given the Referee’s consent for U Mobile to collect, record, hold, store, use and disclose the personal information of the Referee for purposes which are necessary or related to the Campaign in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 and according to U Mobile’s privacy policy which is available at www.u.com.my; and
- the Referee agrees to be contacted by U Mobile for the purpose of this Campaign.
- Referrer will defend, indemnify and keep U Mobile, its officers, directors and employees indemnified against all damages, claims or liabilities and expenses (including legal costs) arising out of the Information provided.
- When Referrer and the Referee complete steps listed in paragraph 5 above, both the Referrer and Referee will be deemed to be a participant of the Campaign. No entry form is required.
- U Mobile may disqualify any participant for any reason it deems inappropriate at its sole discretion.
- To participate in this Campaign, the following steps must be completed during the Campaign Period:
- Reward
- Reward is a RM30 U Mobile postpaid bill rebate or U Mobile prepaid credit rebate (“Rebate”) to be given to both Referrer and Referee, based on each successful Port-In.
- The Referrer’s Rebate is limit to three (3) times per person per NRIC/Passport.
- The Referee’s Rebate is limit to one (1) time only per person per NRIC.
- Both Referrer and Referee will receive a maximum Rebate of RM10 per month. The Rebate balance will be carried forward to next month.
- The Rebate will be issued to the participants on every 17th of the month.
- U Mobile will notify the eligible participants via SMS of their entitlement to receive the Rebate. U Mobile may use any other method or medium it deems fit to notify the eligible Referrer.
- The Rebate will only be applicable if the participants keep their U Mobile line Active for the Minimum Length of Stay period until the issuance of Rebate.
- The Rebate will be forfeited if:
- the participants have suspended or terminated their U Mobile accounts, or have ported-out from U Mobile;
- the participants change rate plan from postpaid to prepaid;
- the Referee change existing Plans to any other U Mobile postpaid plans;
- the participants transfer the U Mobile account ownership to another person.
- The reward is non-transferable and non-redeemable for cash in full or in part. U Mobile reserves the right to change the reward and substitute the reward with another item of similar value at any time without prior notice.
- Referee successfully ports-in will receive Rebate subject to the terms and conditions of U Mobile & GoPayz Cashback Campaign (Website: https://www.u.com.my/en/personal/support/terms-conditions/campaign/u-mobile-and-gopayz-cashback-campaign).
- General
- U Mobile’s decisions on any matter relating to this Campaign are final and binding on all participants. If any matters arise which are not covered in these Terms and Conditions, they will be determined solely by U Mobile.
- U Mobile may change any of these Terms and Conditions including terminating or suspending this Campaign and extending the Campaign Period. Any such change will be announced on our website. It is your responsibility to check these Terms and Conditions on our website and if you do not agree to any of the changes, you must immediately cease participation in the Campaign.
- All prizes are accepted entirely at the risk of the participants. To the extent permitted by law, U Mobile excludes all liability in connection with this Campaign. All participants and if the participants are below 18 years of age, their parents or guardians agree to release U Mobile from and indemnify U Mobile against all liability (including negligence) for any personal injury, for loss or damage (including loss of opportunity) or breach of any of these Terms and Conditions; whether direct or indirect, special or consequential arising out of participation in this Campaign.
- By participating in the Campaign, all participants: -
- consent for U Mobile to collect, record, hold, store, use and disclose their personal information for purposes which are necessary or related to the participation in the Campaign;
- consent for U Mobile to disclose or publish their personal information such as their names and identities and any general information that U Mobile sees fit about the participants in any media, marketing or advertising materials; and
- grant U Mobile the absolute and unrestricted right to modify, use and publish any still or moving images of the participants for any promotional, marketing, commercial or other related purpose, without any payment or compensation.
- The subscription and use of U Mobile’s Prepaid and Postpaid mobile services are subject to U Mobile’s standard Prepaid and Postpaid Terms and Conditions and where applicable, these Terms and Conditions. In the event of any inconsistency, U Mobile’s standard Prepaid and Postpaid Terms and Conditions, as the case may be, will apply to the extent of such inconsistency.
- The Campaign and these Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia. The participants agree that the Courts of Malaysia have jurisdiction over all matters arising from this Campaign.
U Mobile Member-Get-Member Campaign
This Campaign is exclusively for selected U Mobile postpaid and prepaid plan customers to refer their family or friends to subscribe to U Mobile’s postpaid plan and get special bill rebate or credit rebate of RM30. Both referrer and referee will get RM30 rebate once the referee have successfully ported-in to U Mobile’s Giler Unlimited GX68, Unlimited Hero P99 or Unlimited Hero P139 postpaid plan.
Step 1: Visit the Member-Get-Member campaign website at http://u.my/mgm
Step 2: Submit the name, contact number and email of your friend, and we will send him/her an email invitation to port-in.
Step 3: Your friend must port-in to U Mobile’s Giler Unlimited GX68, Unlimited Hero P99 or Unlimited Hero P139 postpaid plan using the invitation link in the email. The number ported in to U Mobile must be the same one provided in the Member-Gets-Member website

Referee
This Campaign is open to all Active U Mobile postpaid and prepaid subscribers who hold an individual account (Corporate account not included) who:
i. have subscribed to U Mobile service for a minimum tenure of one (1) month prior to the commencement of the Campaign; and
ii. have received the Campaign notification through any channels (SMS/ email/MyUMobile App) from U Mobile during the Campaign Period
Referee
A MyKad holder, who is not U Mobile subscriber.
If it has been at least 3 months since they were a U Mobile customer (based on NRIC/passport) and they meet the other requirements when activating a new account, then they qualify as a referee.
You will receive a postpaid bill rebate/ prepaid credit rebate of RM30 for each successful referral to Giler Unlimited GX68, Unlimited Hero P99 or Unlimited Hero P139 postpaid plan. Rebate is limit to 3 times per person per NRIC/passport.
In the event where you have earned total rebate of more than RM30. You will receive a maximum rebate of RM30 per month. Remaining rebate will be carried forward to the next month. This rebate will be reflected in your monthly postpaid bills or prepaid credit account.
Your referral must keep the his/her U Mobile line Active for a minimum period of 30 days from the date of Port-In. (“Minimum length of stay”)
The rebate will only be applicable if both you and your referrals keeps the U Mobile line Active for the Minimum Length of Stay period until the issuance of reward.
The rebate will be credited to your postpaid bill / prepaid credit account on 17th of the month upon expiry of the Minimum Length of Stay.
Each of your referrals will receive a RM30 rebate. The rebate will be staggered across 3 months (RM10 x 3 months).
No, your referral will get only one (1) time rebate on his or her first postpaid plan activated based on MyKad.
The Rebate will be forfeited if:
(i) you or your referral have suspended or terminated U Mobile accounts, or have ported-out from U Mobile;
(ii) you or your referral change rate plan from postpaid to prepaid;
(iii) your referral change existing plans to any other U Mobile postpaid plans;
(iv) you or your referral transfer the U Mobile account ownership to another person.
